The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers
This monthly storytelling event is held at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History on the third Friday of every month featuring celebrated executive director, curator and host Satori Shakoor. 248 Pencils has captured every story since 2012, and provided livestreaming services since 2015.
Working with celebrated historian Junius Williams, Esq. 248 Pencils recorded interviews with six Detroiters who were “foot soldiers” in the Civil Rights Movement and edited them for RiseUpDetroit.org—an interactive website, created to teach the lessons of African American struggles for empowerment in the nation’s major urban centers.
Plymouth Community United Way
248 Pencils has produced Annual Campaign videos and provided other multimedia services for Plymouth Community United Way since 2015.
Gale’s acclaimed Global Issues in Context database features short, overview videos to accompany the most-studied topics for High School students. 248 Pencils has produced several dozen of these topical videos to introduce issues and encourage students to dig deeper, as they conduct their curriculum-related research.

Hosting an annual Open House for its vendors, partners and clients, GTS turns their warehouse space into a mini-tradeshow, presentation stage and conference center. 248 Pencils joined them in 2018 and again this year to help them tell the story of this unique event.
Spire Veterinary Surgery offers mobile surgical service through veterinary clinics in Northern Colorado and along the Front Range of the Rockies. 248 Pencils created a series of videos to promote their mission on social media.
